Changing Strides Equine Therapies CIO through delivery of the British Horse Societies – Changing Lives Through Horses programme, empowers young people to develop essential life skills, confidence, and wellbeing through transformative equine experiences. We believe in the power of horses to inspire responsibility, resilience, and respect, helping individuals reconnect with education, community, and their own potential.

Changing Strides Equine Therapies CIO delivers equine assisted learning programmes including the The Changing Lives Through Horses programme - equine-assisted learning to engage and support children and young people aged 5–25 who are at risk of exclusion, disengagement from education, or struggling with confidence, behaviour, or mental health. The programme is delivered by coaches our BHS accredited Centre and provides structured personal and educational development through horse-related activities.
Changing Lives Through Horses is structured around two frameworks for younger and older participants, offering horse care and ridden modules with awards and certificates to recognise achievement.
We work in partnership with Luccombe Riding Centre, Milton Abbas Dorset, where we are based. To Deliver inclusive equine assisted therapeutic experiences and educational services.
Our shared vision is to improve emotional wellbeing, resilience and physical development in individuals through structured and compassionate interactions with horses.
Delivering all services from Luccombe. Riding Centre, Luccombe Farm, Milton Abbas, Dorset, DT11 0BD, we are accessible for residents of Dorset and the surrounding local areas.
